Is my Tranny getting ready to die?

I have a 02 TLS with almost 14K miles. I've been noticing when I'm in very slow traffic that the shift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 1st can be a little rough/shuddering. It becomes worse when my AC is on.
Also, notice when I'm driving at about 45 mph, the rpm's are low, but it seems that it can't make it's mind up to shift or not, kinda weird. However, I don't have any problems excellerating.
I just bought some OBX headers, but not sure if I should install them. I'm taking it to the dealer on Friday, so we'll see what they say.
Has anyone else had these symtoms?
thanks for the input.

Typically, the tranny problems have been with the 3rd gear clutch pack, which would be noticeable when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. I'm sure everyone would describe a different experience but when my tranny started failing, it was slipping when trying to shift into 3rd gear. I did notice it was a little rough from 1st to 2nd gear months before my failure and mentioned it to the dealer. They described it as a "slight flair" after test driving it but did not link it to the tranny failure months later. (they basically said it was unrelated.)
To be honest, when i bought my TL-S, i constantly was paranoid about every little thing with my tranny that I did not think was normal, just because I was reading about failures on this board. I was constantly expecting a failure......Basically, I don't think your tranny thing is actually a problem, maybe more of just being paranoid (don't take that the wrong way....that is just basically what I experienced....extremely paranoid!!) Don't get me wrong, it may be a sign of things to come, but just ask your dealer to take a look......
