Yikes! Im glad your ok after that. Our TLs are extremely well built. If it can take a hit like that and save lives, im glad I own such a safe car. Im glad you both are recovering well and very glad your still with us today. Take care and drive safe! sad to see such a clean TL go. But its just a car, they can be replaced but a life can not. Stay safe!

it REALLY wasn't your time to go, hope you two get better, i've also lost a close aunt to cancer last year, but she's in a better place and she doesn't have to go through the pain of cancer everyday anymore. hope everything goes good for you (healing, not getting screwed on the money you owe.)
keep everyone posted.

I meant all that by saying bolt ons Funny thing is I ordered the hid kit, got tinted and tinted tails and all led lights within the 1st 3 days of having it. LOL Havent even had it a week yet.
I really dont like the rear to the ron jon kit. The front is ok the sides are pure sexy. If the front was a lil bigger it would appeal to me more. Or molded into the bumper. The kit will be coming in Aug
Yes it needs an LSD more than public America needs jobs right now. Tires spin wayyyy too easily. But I love the car, its crazy fast, rides smooth and handles pretty decently stock. Ones I throw on some wider 20's or 19s, coilovers, and a sway bar its gona handle wayyy better than my TLS ever did. I love the coupe aspect of it. They shouldve made this thing the 3rd gen Acura CL because its waaayyy ahead of any Accord ever made. Its gona be hard for them to top this for an Accord. If it had a J37 and SHAWD I might just live in the car. Acura is really having some growing pains right now. The car turns heads all the time though.

Absolutely. My brother has had his for about a year now, and he still gets compliments from strangers. Just sunday some guy in the Kroger parking lot said "gorgeous car, what is it?". When my brother said Honda, the guy disagreed
And one week after he bought it, a guy in an 08 TL-S pulled up next to him and said he wished he waited to buy that instead of the TL.
But the wheel spin kills it in my opinion. I do wish it was an Acura, and the gap between the hood and bumper kills me.
Out of curiosity, is yours a new '09 model? Do you have any issues with the clutch pedal feel or the XM losing sound and not coming back on until you turn the car on again? My brother, as well as a few other 08 owners have that issue.

Yea the wheel spin is crazy. Im gona get a LSD in there one way or another. Funny thing about the guy in the TLS was I was about to buy one but I wanted the coupe and they have the same motor so the choice wasnt too hard, plus the brand new Accord was still cheaper than a used 08 TLS w/ 30K on the odo. But yea I have an 09 model, I dont have any issues with the clutch pedal, rear deck rattling, or rear brake squeal like ive seen the 08 owners complain about. Also the XM only goes out when I get around huge trees or underground in a parking garage but it comes right back on. I also dont have a noticeable gap between hood and bumper unless you are talking about the typical small void of space since they arent one piece. But its pretty flush on my car from what Im seeing.
Thats the day we picked it up. 08 Blue/Black 6MT with Navi. He let me drive it 70 miles back to the house. Alone
Its a great car though, and handles pretty damn well in stock form. Once you get stickier tires this car comes alive.

Doesnt the TL-S tranny bolt up? I forgot about the rear deck rattling. I dont drive in my brothers car much. Since your car is black the hood gap probably isnt obtrusive.

Yea it handles great. I need to get some better tires. These stock Michelins suck so bad but they make for a comfy ride. I think they TLS tranny does bolt up though. They key is finding a wrecked TLS 6MT
