This is true but sadly I cant find any TL's that have decent KM for the price. I may come back one day when i get more money and can afford a 3rd gen since 4 gen looks so ugly. Right now Im looking at a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE

The best part is that car still started with no problems after the accident.

DAMN. 8k for a 99-01 TL. Sometimes I feel like I should total my TL or get it stolen to get more money from insurance. Because selling it privately won't get you much. But too bad that's "insurance fraud"

My insurance wont be going up since we get one free accident claim. and i know what you mean when i was looking at finding a replacement TL they were pretty cheap but had 200,000km usually so I said by to TL time to look for something similar to it. If i could afford it i would be getting a 2005-2008 Acura TL Type-S

if we compare the design of the car, 2004 nissan maxima is way more better than 2002. also it got the hid projector headlights. check the reliability ratings for 2004 nissan maxima http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/re...n&model=Maxima

check msn auto reliability ratings and review consumers comments that has or had the car.

hmmm i paid $45,000 for the car, it only has 70,000km on it and it only had one minor accident in its life with no issues (tranny is great) i dont think ill be happy if i total it and get 8000 from insurance. btw i think i saw your car, i live near there.

ps. i dont recommend you buying a nissan, just not on par in terms of quality. they feel so cheap inside. try getting a 2004 TSX.
