First tranny by-by at 44k miles

Well I guess I knew it was going to happen, so thats why I bought a warranty. I've got an 01 TL that had just 36k miles when I got it and a non acura dealership. I guess why I'm posting is to mention about the outstanding customer service Acura has. I could dig deep into it, but basically the warranty company (extended-care plus) was wanting to do the bare minimum and spend as least as possible, they basically wanted to get a unknown tranny out of a junk yard and pay the Acura dealership (Acura of Peoria,AZ) next to nothing to install it (leaving me with over a $2k out of pocket difference). Well the dealership went back and forth with my warranty company and handled all the BS that I thought I was going to have to deal with. Needless to say I'm getting an fresh (yes I know rebuilt) tranny from Acura with a 3yr 36k mile warranty for under $1k, AND I get to drive around in a 2010 $50k Acrua ZDX loaner for free while the work is being done.

yeah, use to live in Sac.
Second yeah, I was amazed at the low mileage too, but knew of possible (if not definite) tranny issues.
Like I said before, another blown tranny post is nothing new, I am just so impressed with Acura's customer service. I've owned a Chevy, Toyota, Subaru, and numerous other vehicles and I've never really had a bad customer service issue, but I've also never recieved customer service like Acura has provided. I guess it sounds like im brown nosing, but after this incident, I pretty sure my next vehicle will be another Acura......I do love the ZDX, but $900 a month is a little steep for me :-)
