My TL starts and then dies!!!!
Hey guys need your help on this one, I get into my car this morning, everything seemed fine, then I put the key into the ignition and then I turn my car on, It starts and then the RPMs went slowly down and it died. I tried again and it did the same thing!!
I then started it, and before the RPMs could go down and beore the car would die, I reved the engine, and things were fine, What could be wrong with my Car?????? I also noticed the car has been slightly louder than normal and the car has been slightly more rumble-ier. Thanks for ur help.
U think the Warrentee will cover this?

OK... a very similar thing happened to my wife's car last night. The problem was that the positive battery connection was all corroded.. and it wasn't making good contact. We switched it out, got a new battery and her car was fine...... it may be the same thing here....

Warranty should cover this. I had a similar incident last month and the dealer took a few days to isolate the problem, but in th eend they took care of it. Loaner car for the whole week too. Could be a bad sensor, or sometings happening with the ECU, or just a bad connection. Good luck.

I'd probably have been more likely to blame it on bad gas...

Mine has been doing the same thing, however only after long periods of driving or traffic. All start her up about a half hour after driving for a while and the rpms drops and coughts up, stalls... Same thing, start it up again, give a bit of gas and she's fine....
anyone know what's going on
thanks...
