Hi guys, I've been around this forum for a while. I just want to post this to vent a little anger.

My TL-S just got it's emblems stolen last night. I can see that some a$$ hole used a screw driver to pry the rear one off because there's a big scratch left behind. The idiot also tried to steal my front emblem, but couldnt cause he's a dumb F**%. The right and left ( ) of the ( A ) broke off. All there is now is just the A.

Damn im so mad........If i catch that biatch, dude i think i'd hit him with a baseball bat. My baby is barely 1 month old, with no scratches or nothing. This just discusts me.

By the way, how much would it cost me to get replacement emblems for the front and rear??? What would it cost me for the dealers to install them cause i dont know how.

i say just get the scratches taken out and leave it without emblems. i think it looks cleaner that way and there is no chance of it happening again.

damn, i am really sorry to hear about your car man.
i don't think it's that hard to replace the emblems. i think there may be posts about how to install them on this site somewhere.

Ahhhh, Its called the make my day law. Next time he wants to jack something off of your car, go grab the shotgun!

 

Perfect time to remove the big 'A' from the rear trunk lid, then
just have nothing but the lettering 'A C U R A' on the back.

 

If it makes you feel any better my Type S emblem got jacked, but I don't give a F@#$ about that. They left this huge ass scratch don't to the metal. The next day a girl a my school that has a blk TL-S came up to me and said haha you got you s jacked The next week her S was gone too with a indentical scratch .

Oh and something else I wanna vent about, My 99 civic got jacked this morning at my GF's house. I let her use it because I have TL-S now. she neglected to turn on the alarm because she lives in a good neighborhood. I just got back from the junk yard to look at my recovered civic and to see what they took. They took my proj headlights, clear tails, exaust, my konis, coilovers, my deck, the monster tach, basically my whole suspension, and both my bumpers and my side skirts. sorry just wanted to vent Oh and i found like three baggys with little specks of crystal meth all over the place. i guess you can never tell about the people in good neighborhoods in hawaii

well, as the others have said, u could consider keeping the emblems off. some ppl like it. im one of them, i took off my "3.2 TL" and i think its looks better/cleaner. but, if u really wanna buy new emblems then the "Type-S" emblem costs like $20. check out the "accessories" category on this site. you can find emblems there. as for putting them on, crrect me if im wrong, but i think the emblems come with adhesive on them already. u can jus stick it anywhere u want.

 

same thing happened to me...what do these people do with the emblems anyway?!?! any of you think about that?? if they're going to take off the emblem, the least they can do is to do it clean... leaving marks on cars is just unprofessional

i forgot the price of the emblem but its no more than 15 bucks, i think? its not much but keep it off. dont buy a new emblem and risk getting another scratch.. the A C U R A is just fine. oh and by the way....HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
