By the way...What have you done to your car? How did the light came on?

This is I-CAR Restraint System Recommendation
Disable procedure and time

(Always check service manual.)

1 Turn ignition switch off and remove key.

2 Disconnect and isolate both battery cables.

3 Wait at least 3 minutes.

But your best bet is take it to the dealer.....

If the light comes on it means there's something wrong with the system -- or at least the car thinks that there is. Regardless of how much you hate them, it's best to have the dealer check it out.

Thanks for the input. I was afraid this was going to be the answer. BTW the car is bone stock.

Theoretically you shopuld have ZERO problems with the dealer on this. There's not very much you can do as far as mods go that would affect the SRS to begin with, but the fact that your car is bone stock might help if the dealer's service department is staffed with boneheads who like to blame every problem on mods.

Good luck!

I had the same problem. They reset the light on the first visit and it came back on a day later. Next time they replaced the driver's seat module for the side airbag. Funny thing was they told me not to let rain get on the seat next time. I was like, excuse me? Those seats haven't seen anything of the sort! So apparently they've had issues with water and bad modules. The lights been off for about a week now with no problems.
