you can't bend the shield on the S2000, that shit is thick. Color modded, put two #8 washers. It came out with nice color. I'll have pics up by saturday. I still gotta fix it

well, there's always that chance where you open up your headlights and somehow, you f*ck up. My advice is to be real careful with what you are doing and take your time. Trial and error is the key. I spent at least 3 hours trying to aim the projectors to where I felt it was the correct aiming position. As you can see, the pic with the cutoff on the garage door, it is hella off. The driver side is aimmed a little too low and too much to the right. The passenger is aimmed a bit too high and in too much. So when I'm driving, those beams cross each other like an X. Another thing that is currently wrong is that one projector is color modded and the other isn't. You can see the top beam is very blue, but the bottom one isn't that blue. I'll be taking it all apart this saturday and it should look a lot better than what it is now.

well, i cut the back part of the housing...and drilled three holes and made three holes on the projector. then stuck some bolts threw and screwed them tight. As for aiming...i still have a line marked as to where the cut off should be from my last retro, so i based it on that. but yet, i still had aiming problems..i got more pics i'll show on saturday..
actually, you can see in pic number 5 on top how it's mounted.

Whats up TSXbeauty Looking good mang, as you said yourself, its trial and error. Dont seal them untill you are 100 % satisfied with the output and alignment. Once you go projector you would never look back.

Also concerning your question about the light being dim. Well your front lens looks good may be you were expecting a light from above or output that can eclipse the sun .. Here is the thing all the output pictures that you see of others were taken by ordinary cameras with the exposure set to normal, the cams over expose when they take the bright pictures hence making it seems like that HID projectors are 20 times better than reflector set up.
Your set up looks just fine, great choice of projector. S2Ks are the best as you know very well.

thanks jnc...haha, you found me! I guess i was expecting something as bright as the sun, but hey, these are close enough. haha. I'm currently putting together a DIY for this project. DAMN! so far, it's 4 pages long with no pictures. Once you guys see this post, you'll know how to install your own retro!

Great, Its easy if you know the basics, although is intimidating when you first start of the project.
Now only if i can come around and install my quad projector retro .. Finished it 5 months ago and still havent installed it due being busy with work etc.
By the way after you are done aiming it etc, do a small test run with the lights on on a bumpy road if you can to see if the projectors dont shake. Alot of time if they are not properly secured they would shake when you hit a bump and since the cut off is so sharp it will be very distracting.

The CCFLs are just white no color such as blue etc.. The top of the headlights will be covered by CF Eyelids so it would hide the bit of wire that you see..
TSXbeauty sorry to hijack your thread mang.
