What bulb did you use for that? Also, how does it look during the day, with sun on it? You happy with it?

Ehhh I still like the orange better. Red turn signal bulbs remind me of the 80s American cars...

This is the brand i used, it shines darker than polargs imo.
I had orange bulbs in my Inspires lights but changed to red when the 02's came out. just wanted something different.
I will try to take a pic during the day.

I didnt get them online, i got them at a local performance shop here in NY. They were a little expensive, they cost me $12 a piece.

I thought it was "faux pas" to handle bulbs excessively because they're very delicate.......was I misinformed?

Its ok to touch the bulbs, just make sure you clean it well (alcohol) so there isn't any residue on the bulb. Halogen bulbs get really hot and anything on the bulb (skin oils etc) get hot and cause the bulb to break.

I've never liked the ambers. So these reds to me looks much cleaner. If you're going to spend money for clear tails to get rid of the amber lens, why put an amber bulbs in there?

No me..
Here is my silver bulbs that blink amber...

I like the red bulb look, but I'm just a bit concerned about the performance in the daytime.. the pic doesn't seem as red cuz of the flash.. but maybe Tom will take some pics during the day for us now that he has a new Digital Camera

Red or Amber are the only legal colors.. you are not supposed to use another color..
I would not try to take a marker and color them red, It probably won't be the shade of red you want.. it will be pink. Painting them or getting the ones that NBP has is your best bet if you want red.
