My new HIDs just arrived: Installation instructions?

My new 6000k KAIXEN HIDs just arrived for my 1999 Acura 3.2 TL. Are there any resources on the Internet showing how to install these? I can't figure it out just looking at the assembly.

Thanks for your help.

If you install is for the foglights then refer to this thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/four-twenty-approaches-137807/

there are lots of pics.

I just installed my 9006 6000k HID kit an hour ago.

he's got a 99- no fogs.

The install is really simple, but you have to be very careful
wear latex gloves and don't touch the glass part of the bulbs. You'll need a torx screw driver set. Behind the headlights are round black plastic covers that are held on with one torx screw. take those out, and the cover should twist off. Push the harness that connects to the bulbs and turn it, it will come off. Then there will be a little metal pin that holds the HID bulb in, pop that open and you can pull right out. Reverse for install. You also might have to move the coolant overflow (i think it was either this or the windshield washer fluid) resevoir to get to the bulb on one side.

Hope this helps

No, these aren't fogs, just the main low beams.

So I don't need to remove my bumper or anything?

It sounds easy, but from looking at the assembly, it looks like a very tight fit. I'll try what you suggested in the morning.

Thanks for your help.

Okay, I got the KAIXEN 6000k bulbs installed this afternoon. It wasn't too much trouble.

However, they just don't seem particularly bright. While they aren't dim, they're definitely not as bright as the OEM bulbs were. Is this normal?

Thanks.

4300k (stock) will be the brightest. You sacrifice a little bit of brightness for the color

He's new to upgraded HID's, the kaixen bulbs are deff the shit. Go to the photo gallery and just look at my photoshoot #2 thread and you'll see how my kaixen 8500 look. GANGSTA and there plenty bright, just look at your own HID's eye level directly into it and you'll see how damn bright they are.
