umm you mean the volcano brand or whatever the hidking guy sells on ebay? If you check out some of the HID forum, they have bad ratings. People had those D2R bulbs burn out within a year. That's what prevented me from buying them. I'm def. buying Philips or Osram when my stock bulbs goes.

yeah, the color looks cool, but as far as being light on the road, it reminds me of those PIAA plasma superwhites with the purple tinge to them..was the picture taken during the warm up period? Also, it wouldn't be possible for you to put one stock bulb in one and the new one in the other, could you?

did you have to modify the D2S to fit your headlight housing?
I know you have to make a hole/slot to make Philips Ultinon D2S fit in our car but i heard there are some bulbs that have D2S and D2R slots, both.

I have a question....just the other day i was driving next to one of those new volvo S40R's..and the HID on the other guys car ( while next to mine) was ABSURDLY bright white. You could see the difference between halogens and mine (2000 TL), but his were so much brighter! The ground was pure white....what kelvin is that? It looked like a stock setup...and as far as I know the only way you go on the brightness scale is down as the kelvins go up...how did he get his xenons to be so white?
