Yesterday, I was parked in font of a garage so I could see the headlight beam on it. I know that when you first turn them on, they are blue and then get white. However, when I turned them on, I noticed that the right one has a blue glow to it, while the left one was slightly amber. I've noticed it before on the road in front of me, but I never really checked into it further.
I thought I was trippin and just had to let them warm up. But when I check 20 min later, they were still different. SO now I was really concerned, I went outside to look at my lights head on. And sure enough, they were noticably different colors. Both were bright and white, but I could sure tell.
It's okay for now, but everytime I pull into the driveway, i will be reminded of it.
Anyone else have this problem? Could it be how it is aimed? Any ideas?

Mods? What mods? I can't afford mods, I'm getting married!!
Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

Wattup EDub....I had the same exact problem around a month ago with my TL, where one headlight was a little bit more blue than the other. I brought my car to Park Ave Acura(PLUG) and it seemed that one of the headlights were blowing out since our headlights just don't blow out but just get dimmer and eventually blow out. They replaced both headlights. This should be covered under your waranty.

BDI,
Thanks alot for the info. I'll have them check it out on my next service appt.
The strange thing is, that my car is only 5 months old. I can't believe that the healight is already starting to go bad.

there was a post a while back about the headlights being different colors. the service dept did something to help. I cant recall any other details, or of who started it, but im guessing mafioso or preludeshfan...
ok, found it for you, was indeed preludeshfan. http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/004031.html

looking from preludeshfan post, at night the reason why i can tell if its a acura tl or maybe cl here and there, is because, the light beam is perfectly white and and looking more closely at it has a lite purple hue to it in the headlamps, when i saw a mercedes s500 with a hid turned on it looked like it had an extremely fast strobe light effect, and then turns like a blue hue eventually. i know gs's are like that my friends is300 is like that, almost every other hid on other car besides an acura is like that, kinda makes me say why!
once in a while (i have the same setting like you edub-tl, parked in front of a white garage door) when i turn on the headlights, the passenger side sort of blurts out a yellowish beam(very noticeable) for one second and then its already white without even the light warming up and the drivers side still blue and warming up at the same time...
man these lil problems get weirder and weirder!
