My Dealership is King!

Well, I broke down and dropped my 2000 TL in for the 30K service. The Service Manager said "how would like a brand new 03 TL Type S with 424 miles for a loaner until tomorrow".

Yeah I opened that puppy up to 110 in a 55 and then got hold of myself. The handling is very impressive. It must be the 17 wheels and rigid suspension. No tics in 10 years, I quit while I'm ahead.

How come every other dealer gives out TL-S's and Rallye dumps us in either Hertz rental cars or base RSX's

lol there are 2 acura dealers near me, the one i use you have to be 25 to get an acura loner, im 22, so i get the U-Save rental Galant or Grand Prix or Contour. The other is a little bit of a drive but its 21 for loners, and i got a '03 TL-P with 800 miles (1300 when i brought it bach hehe).

:::sigh::: being young does not pay!

This is your service manager. WE TRIED TO CALL YOU. Since you are abusing the loaner we were nice enough to give you, we require the vehicle back immediately. You will also notice a grinding noide in a few days in your transmission. If a tire should happen to blow out on you 00' when you are speeding on the highway, it could be that nail that somehow accidently got there in out shop.

LOL Rover Hater! Actually I just picked up my TL from the 30K service. Although it was a bit pricey, I’m very glad I did it.

They fixed my bottom drivers heater element that was not working, did a great job on the moon roof that was making a racket—some type of tape he told me and other tweaks up their to quiet it down. He let me know my battery was just about dead as it failed miserably in the load test. And having Type S overnight was flat out sweet! He did tell me the 04 TL would be stickering at very close to $35K-ouch, that is out of my range.

What acura dealer was it?

I had trouble with acura dealer about the loaner yesterday and I had to call Acura customer service & complain.

I basically made an appointment an week before for the service because I wanted to get loaner. I went there an appointment date, and they're saying the loaner will be my own expense. I was like WTF? :wow:

I go to Smithtown Acura out on Long Island. Once I got an RSX, BLAHHHH, but every other time I get a TLS. (I know the owner and he loveeees me!) It is a hot car, wish my parents would have let me get it!)

BUT, I love my TLP.

That's funny that some of you all have problems with your dealers. When I take my car in for oil changes (I know...I can do it myself) I usually keep the loaner for like a week :p !! I'm not putting miles on my car...:o

A few weeks ago I took my '99 TL for her 60K service....not only did they have the free coffee, water and juices in the fridge and newspapers and RoadRunner internet to play with in the waiting room.....but now they had a blueberry coffee cake under a glass cake server! I got the first piece to go with my coffee Maybe next time they'll have a chef to cook me breakfast?
