this car isnt salvagable. the engine was ripped from the frame, all brackets that held the mounts were bent and every wire from the engine and chassis harness and hose were sawed off. entirior is trashed. theres no chance on fixing this car.

I have full coverage, so I cant take anything thats left on the car off. Insurance is going to tow it out of the impound and take it to their lot.

Really sorry about your TL-S. Hope insurance covers all of your loss I've had other cars broken into before, but never completely stolen and trashed like your beautiful TL-S was. Good luck, take care, and visit when you can.

Sorry man. when I saw those pictures my heart sank. It reminded me of when I saw my civic after they recovered it. To some extent, it feels like someone kidnapped, rapped and killed your baby.
But dont worry. Now you can buy something better with fewer digs and dents. lol. Hopefully you stay with the 2g family tho.

The problem is that the insurance company will only pay up to the book value of the car. In this case, that's less than the repair cost.

Keep in mind that our engines are getting swapped into civics and integras now, so look online if anyone is looking for certain parts that they still left on the car that they would need to finish the swap, and see if anyone is selling anything on ebay, craigslist, and anywhere else, lets put our minds together and catch these guys, Im pretty sure anyone that would swap that engine into a civic or something would show it off on youtube or something like that, so keep your head up and dont let this finish you, I know it hurts but dont forget the car can be replaced, but your feelings cant

I agree with Type-SuperFast! Keep an eye out for any parts that they stole off the car. Theres VIN numbers on the engine block (atleast I believe there is) I think we need the Azine investigation crew to go into full force to find these douchebags!!

im really sorry that your car was recovered that way......but if possible would you be able to tell us how the car was stolen.. in the pictures it shows broken window so im thinking a tow truck? i never heard of a tl getting stolen especially with an immobilzer and the only way i can think of that way is to that they have a TL/CL and swapped the ECU and shave key programmed for it but then again wouldn't the car drive like shit......and definately like that engine is going into a CL look at the wheel they put on it all I can say is get a good alarm system with a pager that will wake up the nieghborhood.....rerun your hood cable.......park with the ebrake on....sleep with a 9mm and go to the range often again sorry for your lost and best of luck with the insurance

my reason to believing this way is because although the RSX has an immobizer they have a higher risk of getting stolen why because Hondata has a reflash that eliminate things like immobiler which i think is bullshit and makes thiefs jobs either.....with that being said the TSX are at risk also

It just disgusts me period that someone would do this period, I understand times are hard and people have to make their money but seriously, I know single moms that without their cars they are nothing. I felt my TL was more secure than my TSX, but I guess nothing is sacred anymore.

I saw the tires he posted..my tires are 1 stock michiline tire (since the other michiline tire was left on the car) and 2 cheap brand tires..i cant recall the brand. The rims are mint with no scratches. Unfortunantly, i doubt these are it.
