lol a tl is as easy to steal as a civic. No Towing required. To the OP....like I said the car is in Newark they are always in Newark....But now that I think of it, you had a Type S so who knows where its at (Several places at one time???) I always stay in Newark and I actually live pretty darn close to you which is why i feel this way...you should know this too without me even saying anything. Car wont be difficult to spot cause of the color and texas plates. Ill keep my eyes open for TL's as most TLs dont pass by me without me seeing and noting its a TL (For some reason I think theres so many TLs on the road but Its cause I own one and I notice all of them from miles away) GL man Let us know what happens son

, but ThreePointTwoTeeEl is right, most of these stolen cars usually end up somewhere in newark or maybe rahway. Hopefully you might be able to find it if you drive around these areas, just be careful when you drive through there. I'll try to look out for an ABP Tl with Texas license plates in n. jersey. I've only seen an abp once around here and I always notice the TL's around me. Good luck

The vehicle has been recovered.
Just got a call from the police department. They told me the vehicle has been recovered and is missing the plates. Thats all the details they know. The car was found in Irvington. Go figure. I have to pick it up tomorrow morning so I will keep you guys posted. And to the punk ass thieves, I hope you have a big family and your children end up have down syndrome and you end up catching gangrene so your limbs get amputated and finally you and your family reconcile yalls differences and then YOU DIE.

hey OP, we are all glad that you got your car back. it is a relief to hear about a 2G TL being returned to its rightful owner. not very many owners get their cars back. you are lucky... as for the karma, you got something in return. you got your car back at that is what all that matters. you lost your job because of the stupid economy and you didnt do anything wrong... so i guess you got good karma coming towards you. lost job, but recovered something that you took care of. best of luck to you!

I just got home and uploaded the pictures.. When I walked up to my car my heart just sank.. I feel like I lost something so special to me..and it was. I took care of her like it was my own child..I knew every single scratch, ding, dent, chip on the car. I knew this car like the back of my hand. I did some hard thinking..and this is the end of the road for me. Im 22 years old, and im going to be a full time student when class starts in Texas. I made the decision that no more nice cars for me..no more car payments and focus on my studies. So once I get back home, im purchasing my mom's 03 Honda Element. This may, or may not be the last of me on this forum. I just want to thank everyone that has helped with all the questions I ever had for my car, and all the valuable information this great website has to offer. Thank you all for all the motivational words..it really spoke out to me. Good luck everyone with yalls projects! And enjoy the masterpiece Acura has created..
As far as the car goes.. They took everything under the hood, ripped the motor right off the mounts. took 3 TL type S rims, took my type s badge, threw all of my papers around the car, took my seats, floor matts, shiftknob, cds, gps, headlights, ripped apart the cd player, center console, and my backpack. The only thing I was able to recover was my sunglasses I just bought, michiline optimum wipers I had for a week, led license plate bulbs, a few papers, and my tire pressure gauge. and for rob-2: to the theives, as dave chappelle said (I hate your guts, and I hope all the bad things in life happen to you, and only you.)

the car has full coverage, but doesnt have gap insurance..i pray to god the insurance atleast pays off what I owe.. I owe 10,700, bought the car at 12,900 before taxes, interest, and extended warranty. the car had 102,700. Any idea what the exact value of the car is? I checked kelly bb but i dont know which value insurance will look at. As you can see, the car was in pristine condition. I bought it from a Nissan dealers so im sure that helps my cause.
