A couple of days ago, my car did some weird things. I driving home, and well the car kept on jerking a bit... Then it got worse as the day went on. Then all of a sudden the drive5 light kept blinking, and the TCS and check engine light came on. The Rpm was going nuts, but no accerlation. It was weird. The next day we were bringing it up to the dealer and it was driving fine. The check light was just on.

My questions:
1. What was the cause of this?
2. Has this happened to anyone else?
3. How can I prevent it from happening agan?

 

The trany is dead!

 

Yeah, from what I've being reading those are tell-tale signs your tranny is gone. Sucks man, good luck with the replacement.

 

Well, They replaced it and all. I just dont understand why that was happening? I mean I kept it in good condition. It's not even two years old yet!

 

Don't worry, it's not your fault. It is some sort of a mechanical defect in the tranny. Some people's tranny died at only a few hundred miles.
