with all the blood sweat and tears he has put in that car, it would take a lot more for him to want to buy another TL

i'm sure he'll end up fixing it.

what about your axles? were you running auto or 6mt axles? from what i've heard the 6mt's tend to be a little stronger

maybe you should have got the camber kit and set the camber instead of running all that negitive camber and side loading a bearing that was never designed to be side loaded and that failed because it was side loaded. just a thought, sorry to hear your having major issues.

Being that it is Kris' car I thought this response was very funny. Kris is the McGyver of the TL forum.

Im NOT running all that negative camber. Im well under the factory max. so neg camber wasnt my issue. More likely the 10 years of age, 360k+ miles and the vast amount of lapping days is what took its toll on the bearing.

Not much to see. I dont have the axle, i turned that in for a core. I can show the exploded bearings that fell out once i took the axle nut off.

Playing around under the hood and stuff i see that my motor mounts are shot AGAIN. Time to buy some new ones, poly fill them and buy the Engals mount from excelerate. This is getting ridiculous, and i havent even put the new motor in yet

Were they poly filled? How many miles did you get out of them?

And why a new motor?
