1 - I saw another TLS just like mine with aftermarket rims tonight while waiting to get into the Holland Tunnel. Is the guy here on this board??
2 - I was on Grand Central Parkway and was able to smoke a 4 door V6 accord with ease.
3 - Was on the LIE and beat a Maxima.
4 - Coming back home on the BQE, was able to smoke another V6 accord coupe with ease.
God, I love my TLS.

Don't you love that power??
You're probably gunna get flamed by someone claiming the Maxima wasn't "trying" to race you -- so beware. Other than that, I'll say nice kill! One thing that "sorta" bothers me -- I was in my friend's Buick Regal GS, and his car has significantly more low-end torque than the TL-S does -- 280 lb-ft -- we raced (from dead-stops) an automatic 328i. The BMW got a better launch (1/2 car length) but we came back quickly after the traction control in the Buick got us some grip -- from then on the BMW was 1/2 behind us the whole time (also -- the BMW was in a merge lane, and he needed to either pass us or get behind us to merge). My point is that when I had the SAME three people in my TL-S -- I floored it and there was NO way it had the same kind of juice this GS had. I love the TL-S, and I'll stick to testing the power w/ only me in it!

Congratulations on smoking a 200hp, 195 lb-ft torque Honda. Perhaps Honda owners are a little more mature and don't risk their lives racing other cars, especially on the pothole filled BQE. Enjoy your TL-S but please drive a little more responsibly. My friends and family travel on the same roads you do.
