My AC broke
Well, it happened to be only 93 degrees with like 90% humidity and my freakin AC broke with only 31000 miles on my 2000 TL. I took it to the dealer and they told me that they can't see it til Monday. I was like WTF would you like me to til then. They had the nerve to say don't drive with the AC on. I'm like WTF, are you stupid or what. It's only been like 100 degrees the last 4 days.
Anyway, after *****in' enough the sales manager gave me a new CLS to drive, he said that I would change my mind about my TL and trade it in for this Silver CLS they gave me. I told him "sure if I wanted to buy another TL with 2 doors". He kept saying how the CLS would smoke the TL, then I told him that for speed I have a 540i in my garage. He said the CLS was faster than my 540i, I then took the keys to the car and just left with saying, "wow, if it's that fast I'm actually looking forward to driving this car for the next two days, and I'll let you know on Monday if I'll trade my TL in for the super fast CLS" and he said "NP, you'll see what I mean, the car is super fast, handles great, nothing like it out there". I said "thank you, I'll see you monday" just to be politically correct. What a CRACKHEAD!!

Damn you should feel happy about the fact that you dont' have to live with that freaking Acura EL... oops..... u guys don't have the EL in the states, well I guess you should just feel happy that you don't have to drive a crappy loaner after all

Man they left the "sticker" on the car cuz it's new and I can't see squat out of passenger side when I drive. Man, they just givin CLS away. They had over 10 on the lot.
Oh, I'd rather drive my 540i.

Good thing you got a CL-S instead of a crap car. Almost all dealers give you the lowest level car as a loaner. I had a Lincoln and it needed service (no jokes please) and my loaner was an Escort! Pissed me off, second time we paid a some money to upgrade to a Pathfinder.

I was just implying that the Integra is the staple loaner car in the US. I always think that Acura makes Integras for the sole purpose of having cheap loaners available for all their dealers.You know, I wouldn't mind if they used recent-make Accords for loaners. Integras just don't cut it when you've just gotten out of your TL.

Actually I'm not upset that my AC broke, but am upset that the dumb a$$ guy told me to drive without the AC on and it's been over a hundred degrees the last week. He probably just wasn't thinking when he made that comment. I'm suppose to get the car back on Monday and give them back their CLS that same night. But we'll see what happens on Monday.

funny how he makes the CL S seem like the greatest car in the world. The 540 would smoke it guaranteed. It would also outhandle it and outperform it in every category of performance. THe CL S sucks compared to the 540.

Actually, I'm not even driving the car. I just got the car incase I went out with the 540i and my wife needed to go out as well. Otherwise, I don't feel comfortable driving anyone else's ride. Plus it feels "different" driving the CLS since I'm so use to the TL and the 540i. I don't know, probably a psychological thing.
