Mugen Spoiler -- still in production??

I heard that it was discontinued for a while, but now they are making it again. Is it true?

One of my brother's friends is coming to visit him from Japan. I need to make sure that it's still in production before I ask him to pick one up for me on the way, so I don't send him on a wild goose chase for a spoiler that isn't made anymore.

What else should I tell him to get?? Right now, I'm thinking Mugen spoiler for sure and possibly Inspire letters. Surely it must be way cheaper over there without the profit margin.

That's impressive that you ran a 14.7 stock. I ran a 15.2@90 stock, power mods-wise.

What was the weather like when you ran that 14.7? It was about 77 degrees with 100% humidity for me. I want to see how much of a difference weather can make.

And thanks for the info. I'll PM him.

Hmmm.. if I remember correctly, it was around 75-80 degrees. I don't recall what the humidity was but it was late summer and pretty hot. Weather can make a lot of difference and I'm pretty sure you got a slower time and slower trap because of 100% humidity. Also, I found that my best times resulted from using sportshift. I had 2 years to master the art of driving SS (with the shift lag and all) before heading out to the track for the first time, both for me and my TLS. I'm sure I can do better. I'm just waiting for the season to change. Plus now I have the Icebox with possible headers in a few months.

I'm pretty sure that if I got them straight from Japan, then I could get those emblems for cheaper. And my brother's friend can just bring them with him in his suitcase, therefore 0 dollars for shipping.

Mugen spoiler, Inspire emblems, what else should I get? I should ask him how much Trafficstar DTS wheels are going for. I know they are discontinued, but maybe he can find some left-overs.

Dammit, this is going to drain my bank account. Why did he have to come from Japan? It gives me evil ideas.

Grille doesn't fit on my '03.

Door sills, eh? Possibly. I don't even know how much they are here.

Pure Adrenaline:

I got my Mugen spoiler for about $100 or so, but then my father's friend used to work for Mugen. The last thing I heard about the spoiler is that they are discontinued. I don't know if Mugen still does it or not, but they used to make spoilers in quantity of 25 or so for King Motor Sports every now and then. I think your best luck is to check with King Motor Sports, if you are lucky enough they might have them in stock. I think they sold it for $350 or so for un-painted. Good luck, I would love to see more TLs with Mugen spoiler!

A hole is drilled in the rear fenders in the trunk lip to secure the spoiler end caps; otherwise it's all double sided tape. No permanent visible damage if you decide to remove it later.

Just INSPIRE, or do you want the "H" and the front "H" grille, too?

Let me know what you want, and I'll give you prices once I hear from the kid. Then you can decide if it's worth it.

Cool?
