Mugen spoiler question
Mugen spoiler question
For those of you with the Mugen spoiler.
Does the spoiler fit into the exsiting holes drilled for the oem spoiler?
Will the OEM spoiler cover up all the holes left over from the mugen spoiler?
Right now i have a spoilerless TL and i was debating between the M5 Lip spoiler or the Mugen spoiler... M5 would be simple clean and cheap but Mugen would be baller and expensive!!

I don't have the OEM but the thing is when i sell the car i would have to replace the mugen spoiler with the OEM spoiler and was just wondering if the holes would be covered, i guess double sided would be a good option
Just incase i sell it to the dealership or an older person and they might not have the same appreciation for the mugen spoiler that i have... do you think double sided tape would really work though?

I dont think the dealer will have a issue with the mugen. Its alot more subtle than the oem (and probably the only thing that looks better than the oem)
Yes the tape will work cause thats how its designed to be put on.

How easy is it to get the spoiler on right "the first time"?
I installed a Mugen spoiler on my Integra years ago...the install was also double stick tape... If you didn't get it done exactly right the first time, it was near impossible to get the thing off and straighten it up without damaging the spoiler...

You'd be surprised in my neighborhood. People egged my car, tried to steal but instead broke my CF spoiler, keyed my car, stole my Honda Inspire conversion and I also caught someone trying to break into my car (I caught that guy and lets say I have served my community service and will try to restrain myself next time).
That's why I asked if it can be held on some other way. Thanks for the input though, I might just go ahead and get it anyway, add some more tape and be good.
