Mufflers Only

I Am Trying To Find A Company That Sells Greddy Dual Mufflers By Themselves. I Have Custom Exhaust Right Now With Some Cheap Ass Mufflers And Need To Quiet The Ride Down -alot- If Anyone Has Any Suggestions On Where To Go Let Me Know!

Adding the Greddy mufflers wont quiet it down. You say you have a custom setup? Do you have any resonators on?

lol WHOOPS! Post again, so I can flame

Pretty much, your best best would be a set of flowmasters off of an 89 bronco with no resonators.

lol why is everyone saying thats harsh? The thing about posting again was a joke to S1ck Type S, and the fowmasters was a joke. Go ahead, everyone start being dramatic and saying how cruel it was of me. You are all just adding fuel to the fire by complimenting eachothers "wow thats harsh, 2nd gen drivers are more harsh than 3rd gens" None of your posts make sense.

Since when did Acurazine become so anal? Relax.

Oh yeah, welcome to the forums as well Dont mind me, just listen to Fsttyms1, he'll guide you right, hes the local 2nd gen brain

Oh yeah, if you want a semi-quiet exhaut you could go with the World Sport 2 full catback, even though you're just looking for mufflers. Just a suggestion though

I'm lost by that one

Either way we are all way off topic, me as well. So any suggestions for this guy other than what Kris and I said? I can't think of any other than going back to stock. Really exhaust isn't gonna help you performance wise with our cars. They already have a good free-flowing factory exhaust. But if you're looking for sound, like I said, I'd suggest the WS2 full catback. Every other cat back or Muffler I've heard on here has been loud, and sometimes obnoxious. Stay away from the N1 and setups like that, they definitely aren't what you are looking for.

Anyone else?

I also suggest to get the Apexi WS2. I think it's one of the best sounding exhaust out there.

^ Apexi WS2 setup is pretty quiet from what I've heard, but still significantly louder than Stock.

They do sell Apexi WS mufflers individually... but they sell for a pretty penny.

All the exhausts out there sound pretty good on or cars. Problem is is he did custom piping and removed the resonators, NOTHING will quiet it down other than factory mufflers. And to add to that, any mufflers that are axle back if he has custom work done where they redid the Y and the muffler mounting points wont just "bolt" up.

He has yet to come back and say what he has had done

I would say that if he want to quiet down his car a lot to a nice rumble i would say just get a full catback system. If he does that he wouldn't have to worry about getting things customized. Just a straight bolt on...I guess we'll just have to wait till he gets back and see what we say.

Well i appreciatte the welcome. ill ty to chill on the caps

basically my setup is comptech headers, 3 inch str8 piping for the exhaust. 2 piece of shit mufflers. i would love to find two comptech mufflers, but thats almost impossible to find. i have called all of there dealers and all they offer is an axle back for about 600.

Also does anyone with headers have an o2 sensor problem?
