Anybody know how to move the front license plate from the upper bumper to the lower lip?

rayman009 - there was a thread (with pictures) about this about a month ago. Basically remove the two screws holding the frame, flip the plate, and then re-secure the frame upside down. The re-secure part is the trick!

In CA that's a ticket. Is it worth the "rental fee" not to have the plate there?

I dont think its worth the hassle if you get a fix it or a fine. I just put mine on with no frame around it. Looks clean. I might put a chrome Acura frame on later. But just get used to it. I usually see the tail of my car anyway.

No holes in the face of the bumper, the frame attaches underneath (kind of L-shape).

jbs221, you also got your car from santa monica acura!!! met too!!!!! i got it back in july though. when did you get yours? from who? i got it from jerry, the internet manager.

for the front plate, first off i have seen so many cars on the street without it but i don't see cops pulling people over for this unless you violated some other rules. i have been to airport couple of times, right in front of cops, without my plate and they dont' say anything.

second, a ticket for the front is like 100 bucks or 75? well, rushing a red light gets you a ticket of 300 bucks. without the licence plate they can't charge you, that means you get three plate tickets to equal a red light ticket. i am not saying i will run red lights a lot from now on, but i am saying it's not all that bad..... (maybe?)
