Mounted my XM Unit (pics)

Wanted something that I could move from car to car. This serves the purpose. The bracket is from my Apexi VAFC. I made this a while back but decided to mount the VAFC in the sunglass holder.

Mounted onto the CD holder tray

Wires routed inside the cd tray for a clean look

I am using the PIE controller, which allows me to keep my Alpine external cd changer and also have the ability to add two more input devices. The controller is hidden on the ride side of the center console, under the carpet. The power is routed into the center console.

The bracket was from my VAFC. I had to build it out a bit so the unit would sit flat against the AC controls.

Oh ok. I made a bracket out of home depot parts but it doesn't look professional at all... from the side that is... from the front you can't see it.

Looks very clean.

I used the bracket from Pro-Fit for my Delphi. It looks great mounted just to the right of the radio.

Good work!

Yup, hell opening up the trunk to get to my Alpine changer. 99's had a single disk in-dash player.
