More hysterical stuff from Press Kit
I keep finding more funny stuff in the RL/TL press kit.
The RL is funniest because it tries all this snob-appeal stuff.
Latest is a mention that the people who work on the paint line "are regularly checked for body oils and perfumes that might affect the quality of the paint finish".
Not in the US, bucko!. I get this picture of a little Asian guy in a lab coat who goes around sniffing people and taking body oil samples to make sure all is well. LMAO!
In the US, we have harassment, diversity, etc. Imagine someone trying to tell us we can't work because we hit the Calvin Klein a bit hard this morning.
If anyone is interested, I have more.....

Actually there is truth to the statement. A few years ago, one of the US manufacturers (who shall remain nameless) had a problem with paint flaking off the vehicles within a few months. The traced the problem to a specific plant, shift, etc. and found is was caused by the underarm deoderant flaking off onto the bodies during the paint step. The guys were wearing sleeveless shirts and one thing led to another. This is not a joke and most manufacturers took steps to avoid similar problems in their paint lines.
