It's so hard to make a judgement. I've gotta wait to see the production model in person before I make up my mid. This "concept" vehicle is completely boring. It's so unaggressive. What do you guys thing?

There is a lot of "jetta" in this. The back lights are very flush, like the Jetta. There's too much of the "wide V" design going on here. Inspired by the bottom of the Acura grill, now we see it in the back as well. Did ya'll see that new Chysler?

Damn Chrysler is on the money. First the crossfire now this.

I like the side profile. Looks somewhat like a larger BMW 3 series (not really like the 5 series though). I have not seen any interior pictures, power or pricing information. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.

It would be worth it for Acura to read the feedback happening on all the boards. Now that the clear shots are popping up all over the net, the verdict is not good. I was the first to say this DOESN'T look like a TSX, now I have to agree with ya'll.
Saw my black 03TL-S this morning, covering in beeded rain, all shiny. Feel in love with it all over again!

Looks BETTER than the Bently, and most of us could probable afford it. Good or bad, you have to give Chrysler the props it deserves. Totally out of the box thinking. The Crossfire, 300C and Pacifica are winners.

After seeing more pics, I don't like it--concept or not. If it looks this way for sure, I want a widebody kit for my '02 and the s/c and I'll call it a day to stay with my baby...

I think the two things that stand out for about the '04 TL:
How much of what is shown on the pictures will make the production vehicle. I'll bet my left arm that the cross-drilled brakes with the red calipers will NOT make. So I'll withold my judgement until the final production model comes out.
Also, the concept pictures don't have me wishing I had waited for the '04 TL instead of my '03 Type S. Not a good thing.
I guess we shall have to wait and see.

I kinda like the exhaust ports that are integrated into the rear bumper... looks a little too smooth all aroung though. Needs a little bit of edginess.
I also saw a video earlier today that explained the lack of side view mirrors (someone was asking where they were on a different thread). The black little things where the mirrors should be are rear view cameras (one on each side) with two screens inside the car to show what is behind. Also this concept does not have wipers. High pressure air is supposed to be blown up the windshield and prevent rain from hitting the windsheld and/ or accumulate. (I'm skeptical about this feature.)
by the way the wheels are 19" rims and there are cross-drilled rotors with brembo calipers on the concept. I hope they keep these on the prod car.
What is actually makes it to prod remains to be seen?

Luckily it's just a concept. I can't stand the rear quarter panels. Does anyone else think it looks too fat (height wise)? From the rear doors back it looks like a Maxima.

Damn! I kinda like it. It looks more aggressive yet still refined. I still love the current TL but if that bad boy Type-S ever comes with 300+ ponies and AWD then you can bet you bollocks to a barnyard that I'll be trading in for it!

It's definitely a big change. It's weird how fugly can sometimes grow on you. It does look a bit more european, but so does the new maxima.
I won't be trading my 02TLS in for it... but if I was looking for a new car, would it catch my attention? Hmmmmmmm. It depends upon the interior and performance, etc. Those tires sure look fat. I doubt that they will be stock? Thanks for the "thumbnail" shots. I find that I really like a couple of views but dislike most of the views. It somehow looks too plain... is it the color, or does it need some chrome accent or fog lights or something else to give it some punch?

Biggest question of all... What auto tranny comes with it? I would have to wait a year to find out if they have finally beefed up the tranny enough to trust it, before I buy another Acura...
(Don't flame me for asking about the auto vs a manual... I'm just questioning their resolution to building defective trannys.)

Quote from auto week article
Hi guys, did u read this?!?
<quote>Compact side-view cameras further enhance aerodynamics while providing superior visibility.</quote>
If i understand this correctly, there are cameras on board the '04 TLS?

i kinda like the concept 04 tl but it looks to much like the accord v6 i think...ill have to see it in person next week when i got to the NYC auto show my lease is up in 26 mos and was lookin to get anoter TLS or hopefully the A-Spec but when i see the 04 that will make my decision for me i think that my 03 tls has a great look and shouldnt be tampered with that much...but thats just my opinion one thing i would def like to see is a hp boost.....
