Moonroof Visors...
My dealer had to have my car trucked in from another dealer who had already installed the moonroof visor on the car. I'm seriously considering taking it off for the sake of looks, but it does help keep the wind out of your hair (a concern for me as I'm 6'7" and my fro is way up there).
It's also a little more of a b!tch to wash with the visor on.

I don't really like the look of it, but I'm getting it (from Tim) because the wind noise and turbulence is terrible with the moonroof open. Most of the time it was just too windy in the cabin that I have to close the moonroof.

I think the visor looks better than the body kit, but that's me. If you think it looks good go for it. I had my car for 2 weeks without it and have had it on for 2 weeks and I'm so glad I have it. Under 60 mph you can't tell the roof is open. It is the best option out there.

i think it looks above average w/ the visor. what's the purpose of a sunroof (besides getting blasted on by the sun) if you don't want the wind cooling your head off?
before i had the visor installed, i opened the sunroof all the time to get cool air instead of the side windows. after i installed the visor, 95% of the wind was didn't come in the cabin. obviously it defeated the purpose of having cool air come infrom the roof.

Got the visor on mine, and I think it helps shorten the car a bit, making it seem more squat and aggressive. And it kills wind noise - I notice the difference even with the sunroof closed.
And honestly, if you want airflow, you can always roll down your windows.

Bought that and the nose mask for mine. It makes using the moonroof on the highway a joyful experience again. Not as noisy and the pressure doesn't oscillate as air moves over the top of the car when the windows are rolled up with the moonroof open.
It's more practical than it is stylish, I think. Each of us gets enjoyment from their cars in different ways. For me, I don't enjoy the moonroof without it.

I just had mine installed this week.
I like it for both reasons.
1) I like how it looks. I don't plan on putting a full body kit on my car (too busy-looking for me), so the visor gives the car a different enough lok for me without looking too busy.
2) I definitely appreciate the functionality of the visor. It really knocks the wind noise down when you are on city streets. It really doesn't seem to help a whole lot when you are on the highway at cruising speeds, but that is alright with me.

The visor allows water from rain and the car wash to get caught underneath it. It always looks dirty and blocks a portion of the opening. I had it on a car once and would never get it again better yet pay for it. Also, it rubs against the paint so if you do remove it there will scratches wherever it touches the roof of the car.
If you plan to never remove the moonroof visor, then yes you should get it. Otherwise it will mess up the finish where it mounts to the roof and will fade the paint, similar to "bra-burn", in which the paint that was covered over by your typical nose bra no longer matches the rest of the car.
I wanted to get a moonroof for my TL-S but the salesperson actually told me that I shouldn't get it unless I was willing to live with the consequences. Of course he coulda just said that, knowing that if I asked for the moonroof when purchasing the car, it would essentially be thrown in as part of the purchase price (like getting floor mats thrown in for free)--whereas if I bought it afterwards the dealership would be making pure profit off of an after-purchase sale.

When I bought my car the dealer threw in the visor for free. After having it on for nearly 3 months I decided to remove it to see how the car looks without it. I notice black lines had formed on my roof along the lining of the visor. It could be the rubber molding of the visor rubbing against the paint. I haven't been able to get it off to this day. Luckily the lines are not too noticeable. So if you decide on installing the visor make sure it will be a permanent install or if you are considering on removing the visor make sure you do it early.
I definately like my car without the visor. However, the visor does have its benefits, it kept the sun out of my eyes and it also reduces the wind noise in the cabin. But the feeling of the visor messing up my paint just prevents me from putting it back on.

I have it on my 2000 TL I think it looks good. I got it free from the dealer when I purchased the car since I did not wan't floor mats. I have had the car for 18months with no prblems with visor.
I aslo had one on my 94 Accord EX for 6yrs with no problems.
This is a part that can be replaced very easy if damaged.
