Post Moonroof Visor - does the TL look better with or without?

The visors actually serve a purpose deflecting the air; but does the TL look better with or without?

I think I know why you are asking this Q. Don't worry about what others think, if you really want that - do it. It is your car and if you like the way it looks and functions; that is all that matters.

Maybe you'll get some pictures of ppl with them on so you can see the difference.

This is the benifit of having a meet, so you can see the mods in person for yourself.. (hehe like how I plugged that meet in?)

Mods? What mods? I can't afford mods, I'm getting married!!
Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

ok, maybe on a black car as it blends with the color, I'll give you that, but I'm definitely against them on a Silver TL

My personal opinion....I like it without better. But do what you like, if you like it better with it, then more power to you. Don't let our opinion get in your way

I think it adds to the style of the car. It breaks up the roof line. I love it.

Build one at the Acura website and click it on and off. You'll see what I mean.

Cool

I think if it is a light colored car like the Naples gold, the visor stands out very well with a contrasting look to the car's color....the black colored car looks like it has a hump over it.

Personally I think it defeats the purpose of the moonroof's tilt feature since our's don't slide back like the prelude's.

I didn't have one on my '00 TL. When I bought my TLS, the demo had the visor. When I was driving it, I opened the sunroof and was amazed at how well it worked - with the visor, I could be doing 80 down the freeway with no wind blowing in the sunroof at all. My wife also really liked the look of the visor, so I got it. I think it looks pretty good, but you can check it out for yourself:

When I bought my car it came with the visor and I didn't like how it looked with White Diamond Pearl, so off it came. Come to find out it marks up the paint pretty good, so I was glad I took it off. I do like the way it looks with a darker color, as it does not stand out as much. IMO.

I have a silver TL and I had the visor almost from the begining. It looks much better(more air dynamic) and it eliminates any noise when you open the sunroof. It is a perfect edition to any car especialy when you like your sunroof open.

You should only consider looks if you're NEVER going to open the moonroof, in which case it's a matter of personal preference. However, functionally, it greatly reduces wind with the the moonroof open. Also, it helps to distinguish your car from a sea of other cars in a parking lot, since we don't an antenna to stick a big ball on

I take it off in the winter to make it easier to clean off snow from the top, but miss it. It's also a bit of a hassle to take it off everytime to wash the car, but it's your preference whether you want to do that.

Is it hard to clean under the visor?

I use my sunroof all the time, and have wondered what it would sound like with the deflector.

Just the way it looks to me and also worrying about cleaning stopped me from getting it.

Only problem with the visor is that it looks stupid when the sunroof is tilted...it looks clutered...that why I opted not to get it. I love the way the it looks tilted

I bought my car with the visor on it. After a year I took it off to see what it looked like. I noticed right away that on hot sunny days, there was significantly more glare and heat in the car with the roof open. The looks became secondary at that point, so I put it back on. Probably looks better without it, but doesn't look at all bad with it.
