just leave it. It's alright if you have the side visors and a lip spoiler to make it all go together.

does its job. doesnt look too pretty. i leave mine on because i smoke sometimes and its nice that you can leave that 4in crack and not have any wind noise.

also if its been on for a while it will have warped the rubber trim around the moonroof and water and little leaves and junk will get in the track.

I love my sunroof. I use it all the time, but I wouldn't want a permanent visor. I like the look when its tilted up, but with a visor it looks stupid.

I started a thread a while back about a pop-up visor. Like on the CR-V, it is spring loaded. When the sunroof slides off of it, it pops up to reduce wind noise. When the sunroof slides back over it, it pushes it back down into the car roof.

I know you guys have seen them, but its hard to explain. Vehicles I know that have them: Toyota Highlander, Lincoln Aviator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler 300M, Honda CR-V, BMW 3-Series, etc.

Someone post up a picture of what I'm talking about.

Maybe we can buy the "visor" and retrofit it into the TL. I doubt the sunroof in a CR-V and a TL are that different. Then again, I may know nothing. I have been wanting one for a while now.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My old '91 Accord EX sedan had it. It pops out just enough to divert the noise then when you close the sunroof it pushes the trailing edge down into the car.

even that is rediculous for a piece of plastic.. amazing what people will charge when theres no other option...

if somebody else sold them for 50 bucks and everyone knew about it.. i bet you'd never see another 200 dollar piece of plastic shield again

Mines had one on it since it was new - and the dealer must have removed the little chrome one that pops up. I have to admit, since i took it off and had the car repainted, the car looks sleeker.

Depends. If you want it for wind noise reduction, yes. If you want it for looks, no. I have one and I really don't care for how it looks but on the highway with the sunroof open it's perfect.
