I finally got my car back yesterday. I'm so glad i got it i missed it a lot. I got sick of driving that f'n Integra LS loaner. No power whatsoever, handling sucked, and it shook at 80mph+. What a piece of shit, even for the price. I think the TL has spoiled me now. I have gotten soft now. I am used to leather, the sound controls on the steering wheel, the pick up, etc. Anyways, they also replaced the center console clips, knock on wood, everything seems to have went okay. So for those that have had problems even after taking it to the dealer, don't despair, it CAN be fixed. I saw a Silver TL-S driving out after i picked it up, man that car is sweet, i wished the person would have raced me but i think he was older. Anyways, is there something different about their HID headlights ( i know the shape is obviously diff)? The TLS i saw yesterday the lights seemed more yellow than mine. Just an observation.

Glad to hear that you got your car back. how much did it cost to fix all that or was it still under warranty?

 

All under warranty. Of course! Otherwise shiet all hell break loose.. j/k

 

Yes, the 2002 TL(S) HIDs are not as bright as the 99-01 TLs. Even though they don't have the diffuser, the light output is not as bright as the previous HIDs. This is coming from an Acura dealer that I spoke with.

Cool, now there are 2 aspects of my headlights i like better, my whiter lights, and the shape of my headlamps!... damn't a Type S would still be nice
