moonroof

my moonroof wont close anymore!!! today, i pulled the moonroof all the way back but it started raining, so i was trying to close it, but it got stuck!! it closes about halfway. i pull it all the way back again, then i tried to close it, but it keeps getting stuck halfway.

what do i do???? my interior is slowly getting flooded!! HELP!

I had a similar problem. Open the roof all the way. On either side you will notice at least one gold colored screw. If it works itself even a little loose, the roof will get caught on it and wont close the rest of the way. Just make sure the screws are tight and check them from time to time. Hope this helps.

thanks man!!! i took your advice, ran out into the rain and checked it out! it was JUST the thing! just two twists on the screws and the moonroof just shut closed like nothing. awesome!

gotta love this site. haha

hey you have an emergeny tool and crank for the moon roof , to be honest i am not sure but check your manual,, in the liner somewhere is a little metal tool they give you and a spot to hand crank it shut,,,, good luck!
