Moon Roof

Interested in installing the visor for the moon roof. It looks like the prices for these things are pretty standard, about 55-60 bux online. I dont know how much the dealers are charging for them, but does ne one know of ne website that is selling these things for cheaper by any chance? Not a big investment I know, but hey if I could save a few bux, it will go towards my S/C kit..haha!!

Thanx!!

I got min when I bought the car. The black plastic trim around it started to peel off so instead of fixing that, they just put on a whole new visor, so it cant be that expensive.

I think it adds a sportier look to the car, plus reduces noise if you have the sunroof open.

Ps: You indian man....North or South? South indian here, live out in Philly.

Keep your eye out for a used visor. You should be able to get it for about $30.

P.S. I love Masala Dosa!

A friend's TL-P with the visor has more wind noise with the roof closed...

Do it if you like the look. The "performance" difference is probably negligible.

In my experience, those things are nothing but a pain, they mark your paint (permanently), you have to take it off at least once a week to clean and wax under and still leaves a mark and the noise is not reduced a lot, in fact it increases noise. Ultimately is your choice but IMHO, don't do it.
