I was wondering if anyone who baught there car from Montclair acura in jersey got them to drop the car off at there house? My apartment is about 15 miles from the dealership. When I asked for a quote on the internet they said they had this service, but the sales guy knew nothing about it. My Anthracite CLs /w navi just arived, and I'm giving my current car to my parents, so if they wont deliver it, I'll have to find someone to drive my car back, which could be a pain.

 

i got it at monclair acura good place didnt know where they had that service but i wouldnt use it cause i would inspect it before getting it

 

I bought my 99 TL at Montclair Acura and my sales guy, Ed Simo, was really cool. But I have had horrible experience with their service dept. That's why I go to Park Ave Acura for all my service needs.

Back when I bought my TL, they didn't have that service. Either it was added or someone lied to you.

 

Bought my car from montclair acura, they wouldn't deliver the car they would only leave it on the lot for pick-up. Good luck finding someone to tag along with you

I bought my car at Montclair as well. It is better if you go there and inspect the car instead of asking them to deliver. You mean you can't find a friend to go with you?

 

montclair acura sucks bro. the only good thing about that place was my sales guy tom quigley. the managers were a bunch of ****s (one actually called me a ricer cuz my trade in was lowered), and service is worthless.

i never heard about that delivery service, and i wouldnt trust those morons to drive my car either.

for future reference, park ave acura for everything.

 

Well, I am gonna go there and inspect the car first, actually
I already have, but I'm gonna give it another once over. The sales guy said he would follow me in the car to my place, if I needed him too. It's kinda moot though now, I can get someone to go with me on the weekends, just wanted it sooner. Unfurtunatly I was supposed to take delivery on monday, but I am
having some insurance issue's (no surprise NJ blows ), so it may be another week or so before I can get my car. I have no tickets,
no accedents and Liberty mutual still wanted 3200 a year, for a
standard 100/300/100 with 250 dedect, hopefully NJM will be a lot cheaper, gotta wait to get a quote from them...

try to get NJM for your insurance, they are great and save me a lot of money. However, they are a pain to get into.

i am off of grove past the route 3 bridge, the guy on van houten by the high school is one of my someone i know though. You will not see that car there anymore because i believe it is totaled now, either that or its going to need extensive body work because he crashed it recently. i just got my car a few weeks ago, 02' Diamond White TL-S, getting tints soon. no major mods yet. i love the agean blue's, ill keep my eye out for you sometime

Hey anyone in the North Jersey, Clifton area, interested in a meet. We can all get together at the Clifton Commons, Applebee's, Chevy's.

I have seen a few members are from the Clifton, Kearny area. just figured it would be pretty cool to meet eachother.

 

I go to the Clifton Commons theater a few times. But there have been headlights stolen from TLs there a few times already. It was in the news and the paper That's why I don't take my TL there anymore.

We can meet there but we can't leave our TLs there unsupervise.

 

dude tom quigly is a jerk...he has bouched from acura dealership to another i talked to him at park ave and he bashed montclair 2 mounths later i see him workin there....he is shady as hell.....

 

im definetly up for a meet in our north jersey area, it is a bit cold and the weather hasn't allowed my car to stay clean for more than a day or so. we need a nice week!

 

im in w the meet 2 dude i live in Belleville let me know maybe over the Christmas holiday im free till Jan 2 when i go back 2 work after that im only free in weekends keep me posted peace and im wearly over the commons but if we stay buy r cars well be fine thats where Giants Reciver Tim Carter was c jacked in his new M3........but im down

 

yea i heard all about that carjacking, what a shame. You know when a high profile guy gets jacked that easily, it's not exactly the best place to be on the weekends. A lot of cars do get stolen from there. The place is swarmed with undercover cops on the weekends now though.

 

i'm definitely down for the meet. we cant realy do it at clifton commons on the weekend though. that place is a f^ckin mess on the weekend, no parking at all. especialyl with all the high school kids on break. maybe if we park by the bank parking lot or something. if not, we'll all be parked like a mile from each other.

maybe by seacaucus, at the harmon meadow mall or whatever its called? they have that free parking garage by the pool hall, we can at least protect our babies from the elements.

Is it banged up a bit on the driver side. There are a bunch of people in this area with type S. Let me know when you guys want to meet.
