Question Modify 2002 TL-S

Hi All,

I want to modify my 2002 TL-S, any good suggestion on what parts I should buy? For example: Suspension, tire, break, exhaust etc. Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

Any parts that you want to buy for your type-S, you can buy it from Tim (Snook) at www.autocarparts.com
He is the owner of this great site and he runs that site so show your support.

Well, looks like they moved it in here!!

I'd say headers, intake, RES (when it's released, do a search on Mystery Mod for more info), exhaust, springs, sways, and tires. If you're looking to improve handling first, go tires, sways, springs. If you're looking for performance, see above. They're all mods that are popular on here, and all have a positive affect. It all comes down to how much $$$$ you want to spend....

Thanks for the feedback

All,

Thanks for all of your quick feedback, I am thinking to drop about 8-10K to modify it. To start the process, I will probably get 4 18-in wheels, bigger break and some good suspension. I also want to get a body kit to change the look of the car. Anyone have good suggestion on which body kit is the best and how to put body kit on?? If someone can provide or direct me to some TL modify pictures, I will be greatly appreciated!

Hooooo Weeee..! I think if I had 8-10K to drop right after having bought the car I would have gone for my first choice...Audi A6 2.7T. Anyway....I still love my TL and wish you luck on yours!

Buy the Zeal Coilover System...first and foremost....never overlook your suspension....then you can get a kit....and some rims...everything else is gravy after that.
