He said GS430 in his auction which is a $50k car, but not in same league as TLS. And his TLS doesn't push out 315hp.

 

315 at the fly wheel maybe.. i think thats possible..

 

Even with 315HP at crank, GS430 would still slap TLS silly....

Sorry bro. 'If' the Acura Tl-S had 300 HP much less 315 HP at the crank then he would run right with a GS430 through the 1/4 mile. Check the stats AKRY on the GS430 1/4 mile times and trap speed. With all of the Comptech mods, guys have gotten low 14's in the 1/4 which is what the GS430 will do stock. The winner would be determined by the driver. Above 100 mph, then yes the GS430 would beat the TL-S; it wouldn't 'slap it silly' however; that is a GROSS exaggeration.

 

Are you saying 35 hp can shave off .9 secs off the 1/4. Dayam that's better than NOS wait, If I get NOS with 70 hp gain that means i can do 12 sec 1/4s LOL Only if this was true.

I can't understand why it didn't sell for more than $28k- for that money you may as well go to a dealership, and you're dealing with a corporate entity you can come after if something goes wrong. Who would bid that much for something on ebay?

I emailed him and pointed out that he didn't list his tow hitch on his car, and a tow hitch can add almost 20HP!!!! 15 HP for exhaust??? I asked the guy if he was a focking moron and that I would hurt him in my GS430 Too bad he's on the east coast.... Not worth driving across the US to race some dumbass that pulls HP numbers out his ass. 315HP???? WTF????
