Which mod to get first?

I have about 800 dollars to spend from my tax return. What should I spend it on. And in what order??
1) obx headers
2) AEM CAI (cant wait for v2 to come out for the TLS)
3) Comptech Sways
4) Pulleys
5) What else

I pretty much want the best bang for my buck. And i want the most dramatic difference that I can possibly get.
Thanks

By the way I have a 2003 NBP TL-S

Definitely the header and CAI.
If I were to have $800, I would go for that.

Cheers !!!

Most bang for the buck and MOST DRAMATIC difference eh?

Then your 2 items would be...

Neuspeed Sway bars (race set) = ~$400
OBX SS Headers = ~$300

Take it from some1 who's been there and done it. If all my mods were to be stripped from me exept for 2...these would definitely be the keepers.

I have read many posts about the OBX headers and a resonance hear at around 2600-2800 RPM. Is it really noticable or annoying??

I wouldnt recommend it if it was. Mind you, I have a CAI myself...but I wouldn't put that high up on the most bang for the buck list. Cheap...yes...easy to install...yes...most bang for the buck...definitely not.

Caution with the Neuspeed rear race sway. It is 25mm and requires chassis rienforcement. I'd go with the OBX headers, Eibach ProKit and Comptech sways.

Relax. I am just the conduit here. That came straight from autoparts.com. I would not chance it. You did. I hope it works for you long run.

Here is where I got that information:
ACP-Neuspeed sways

Conduit...exactly. This reminds me of all the users that come here and speak of magazine time slips yet never try anything out for themselves, yet speak of "higher knowledge". I know what it says...I've read it, done my reasearch, installed it & played with it uh...when..lets see...over a year ago?

No offense...but I'm simply speaking from experience. And as for regurgitating the common blanket stement of "Comptech is certified for our cars blah blah" well, technically...all the parts were made for the Accord.

Great, you did your homework. They have worked well for you so far and maybe for a long time. The original post was asking for information. You gave information on the pluses of the Neuspeed Race sway. One car and one plus years time. Maybe others who have the Neuspeed Race sway can offer their postive experiences with them also. That would be a solid recommendation.

But, obviously Tim P. thought it necessary to caution against the use of it. I decided against it for this reason. I went with Comptechs because of my research. IMO, the Comptech sways will be kinder to the chassis in the long run. On their forum, Mike B. states that it is possible to go too stiff on sways. They also have a great track record (i.e. history).

Where did this statement come from? I have neither come accross it nor have I implied it. I agree that Comptech is not Honda/Acura"certified." They are not like AMG for instance, just Honda/Acura specific.

Nowhere. It's just that everytime I defend a product that competes with Comptech, it just seems as though everyone jumps to the same blanket statement over and over. I was just trying to "double guess" what you might say next. :p

when I first put on my OBX's, I torked them properly (at this time I heard a small amount of resonance) then let them heat up and settle for a couple of weeks, then I started to hear a little more resonance. So I torked them again and now I can barely hear it ever since.

either that or I just got used to them...lol
