Hey there guys, this may be off topic but can be related to our Acura's as well. My sister and her husband (Lt. Cmdr - USN) was based in Washington. I convinced them when they bought thier minivan to get a Honda. They had no US speced minivans, but the dealer said they could get a Canadian spec van for the same price. They got a loaded EX. They were told the warranty would be a third party due to being canadian but would still be the same as the US warranty. Thats not the problem, there have been 5 saftey recalls & 4 service bulletins on her particular 99 model. Honda US says it's a gray area van and Honda Canada said it's a gray area and they won't cover it. Her husband is out to sea and I called up both American & Canadian Honda and told them I was representing them. I informed them both that if the issue is not resolved between both companies and something harmful happens a result of there negligence in repairing the recall items, that both would be called in for negligence. This is long and I'm just letting you know of this B/S run around in case any American or Canadian dealers tell you they can get a different country speced model. Don't go for it! This is the first bad experience I have every had with a honda product, I have never seen this much pass the buck crap since buying a Ford.

Never mind HONDA CANADA or USA, just take it back to the !#$!$^%$^#@$!@ dealer that they bought it from. They should be looking after it!
