The lug nuts are 19mm, at home I just use a 1/2in drive socket and breaker bar to loosen and tighten them with a torque wrench.

Sears has great "mechanic" tool kits from 50 pieces to over 400. I got the 125 piece and it's got about everything, in metric & standard. That's a great place to start. I also got a "mini" metric 25 piecer I keep in my car.

You should also get a cordless power-drill for your house. You can use those for just about everything. Happy shopping.... you may max out your CC though

Most years of the Cravan came in metric since most (if not all) had Mitsubishi engines. I would still get some SAE tools for around the house (the adjustable wrench is cheating by the way).

I was a car audio installer for 15 years and the only sizes of sockets that I ever really needed to pull a car apart were 13mm, 10mm, 7mm, and 1/4" - regardless of whether the car was a US or foreign model. Oh and a few torx tips too. I dont recall offhand for sure right now (its late and i am tired at the moment so my brain is running slow) but i think they were the T20 and T30.

Funny how rims and tires are still measured in inches. By the way, you can't go wrong with one of those huge 100+ piece sets at Sears. Great way to start your tool collection for not too much $ (now if I could only afford some Snap-Ons).

Well, that's only partly true. The rims are measured in inches still but the tire sizes (other than the last number) for passenger cars are in metric. There was even an extreme case of a tire called a P-Metric. A few Fords used them amongst others. A buddy of mine had one and couldn't find tires for it anywhere.

You guys may be a little young to remember the old-fangled sizes such as G60-14 (my 71' Roadrunner) or F70-15 etc. Now those sizes were confusing!

Rhino stands
2 ton jack
oil filter wrench
5 quarts of Mobil 1 (dont know if sears carries them)
10 mm wrench - this is the most common bolt in our TLs
spark plug wrench
set of screwdrivers (std and phillips)
if you can get craftsman on it all the better the craftsman comes with a lifetime warranty

Dont forget to get a impact gun and a air compressor and install a nice lift in your garage and you wont have to mess with the jack stands n floor jack.....If you think this is extreme ... well i know someone who has this whole set up along with snap on tools in his home garage......ahh i should have stayed in school longer

A Shop-Vac is also a good investment. Not the Carftsman brand because they use all sorts of different sized filters. The Shop-Vac brand only uses one number filter. I bought a 12 gallon a couple of years ago and it has proven to be very handy. Just think, you can vac out the hot rod and not have to go to the car wash to feed the machine quarters and worry when it's gonna stop on ya.
