I searched for this, but couldn't find anything, so here it goes.

I have moved to Montreal from the US and I brought my RL with me. I've switched over the Nav to Metric, so now it shows everything in km, etc. However, I can't find a way to switch the temperature, etc data that is displayed everywhere else over to Metric. Is it even possible?

 

Check with the dealer. My guess is that they can probably do it with the tool they use to reset and program everything else.

 

I believe in the MID set up menus there is an option for Metric values, particularly the Temp.

 

I couldn't find it in the menus. But I could have missed it. If anyone finds it let me know.

 

Actually, I checked the online Owner's Manual (available on OwnerLink). It indicated Celcius Temp was on Canadian models.

 

I believe he has a US model, but currently living in Canada now.
Canadian models do have temps in Celcius

 

I don't think the switch to metric is user customizable (unless it's hidden in the diagnostic menu somewhere (Hold the Map - Menu - Cancel buttons simultaneously for a few seconds and it will pop up). If it's not there maybe a dealer could make the change? Would converting from miles to km be considered changing the odometer? That may be one reason why it couldn't be done.

 

I did it in my GMC Envoy from the US and it was as simple as surfing through some menus. I assumed that I would be able to do similar in the RL. It doesn't really matter, it would just be nice to see my trips in KM and my temp in C since that's what I see all around me.
