Mesh Grill(s)?
Before I ask my question, I feel it only proper to give a warm U.S. Army "Hello" and introduce myself.
My name is C.J. I have been in the Army for 6 years. I am a MRI Technologist. I have always yearned for the finer things in life. My philosophy is simple: If you work hard, than you can afford to play hard. Hence the reason why I bought a 2003 TL-S. I love my TL. It is a smooth yet sporty sedan. I have owned a few sports cars, and I can honsetly say that the driving experiance I get with the TL-S is far more enjoyable than the M power Z3 I owned two years ago...before my daughter was born. That said, here is my question:
Has anyone here purchased or created a mesh or billet grill for their TL? I have seen a few pic's from searching on google, but I have yet to locate someone who sells a decent looking product. I have checked to see what E-Bay has to offer...slim pickings to say the least.
If anyone out their in Acura-TL-Land has any information for me, please feel free to post or email a reply. My e-mail address is: mrigooroo@hotmail.com
Thank you,
Sergeant C.J.

well first off....welcome....second to ur inquiry:
Mesh Grill-It has been done before and numerous times
Materials needed: Wire mesh sold at home depot or lowes(or other stores of the like), and Wire cutters
Stepstaken from DIY)
Buy a gutter guard (6 inches by 3 feet)
Take out your grill (5 screws and 2 clip thing)
Take out the silver frame (about 10 screws) and the middle cross thing.
Cut the gutter guard the smaller shape as the silver frame.
Put the gutter guard between the frame and the black plastic thing.
Tight it, and put it back. (you might need some help here to hold it)
Sit back, relax, and have a beer. there you go! A new grill

Thank you for the information shimbo519, I will be making a trip to Home Depot tomorrow. Regarding the color of my TL, I chose the unsuspecting color of White Diamond Pearl. I never thought that I would buy a white colored car, but Acura does such a great job, plus the route I travel to see my daughter (I-70) it littered with State Patrol. White just seems to blend in with the crowd a little easier than the red cars of old. I will be posting pictures as soon as my "accessories" come in. I ordered a spoiler and some other interior/exterior goodies Monday. The mesh grill will be an excellant touch. The best part of modifying through Comptech, is the fact that if the dealer installs the parts, Every aspect of the modification is covered under warranty. I have the upmost confidence in my ability to install an exhaust and intake system on my own. I just want the satisfaction of the warranted mod.
I look forward to posting with you fellow TL affectionados!

PROBLEM WITH THE MESH GRILL...
hI all... my problem is im stuck when i have to put it all together...
I cut the mesh good, separated the grilll into its 4 pieces, but when i try to put the black plastic thing back with the mesh wire, the center of it sticks out prohibiting me from putting back into silver frame...
