i have these on my car for a year or so, love the power, hate that annoying hissing sound, people will pull up next to me and say DUde you have an exhaust leak mannnnn, i dont think i do bec ive checkd and checked time after time
are the gaskets too thin or wtf? i called megan and they said they would send me new gaskets, but who knows if that will solve it.
my car is too nice to sound like a beater...help

they suck........nuff said , get the XS power headers............or search under my posts to see all the feedback I have left about megans(too lazy to get into this again).........but basically I ditched my megans and have not looked back.Or check the CL section for the str8 pipe fix(for resonance),although some people said it did not work for them.Good Luck

Well if others can hear the hiss id say you have a leak. Get under with it running and have some one rev it and look for and listen fo leaks

yes the megans dont fit well and resonate, XS Power fit well, no leaks and i dont have any vibretion/resonance

you could always have the straight pipe welded in where the small flex is. (you'll find it in the search). that solved my issues. i love my megans and wouldn't trade them for anything but a set of comptechs, and even that is debatable.

^^^ I liked mine too(the power) don't get me wrong.........but getting looks everytime I excelerated was pissing me off.Plus all the extra work I had to put into them, i.e. crawing under car mulitiple times,buying header wrap,and welding the st8 pipe....was all getting old...

Plus for me the str8 pipe only worked for a while it seemed,my resonance was still there when I really smashed the gas(race situation).......So make sure to read the whole thread in the CL section,a few other CL guys reported the resonace coming back also.

Thanks. My laptop is on its final leg. part of what i typed didnt actaully get typed I fixed it now

yeah i dont want to cut or weld or any of that crap, i think i may be losing some power too if there is a slight leak, i think i am going to go for the XS's...ebay??
theromoblock and porting the throttle body is in the future too, any real gains if i port and polish the intake manifold too?

i believe it was determined that an intake P&P won't gain us anything much. i could have sworn the same went for the TB, but maybe someone else recalls for sure. it's been discussed in posts.

search for Comptech headers,the XS will show up as a "comptech Like" accord V6 3.0 header

Yes, it was the hanger.

Yeah, i think that was me, it was the hanger for the downpipe. Resonance is actually still SLIGHTLY there, 90% fixed by the new hanger though.
