Mechanics in MD
Can anyone suggest a good mechanic inexpensive mechanic in MD?
Coming up on 105k and need timing belt and water pump changed. Wanted to check around before I go to the dealer and pay a 1k.

two of my friends are honda mechanics (sheehy honda) right before woodrow wilson bridge on route 1.
they can do a side job for you. if you go thru dealer or any other shop you are looking at around $1000 i think. but he might do it for half of that. not sure. will ask for you if you want to.

I know an excellent mechanic from Frankel Acura in Gaithersburg, MD. He actually just installed a set of H&R sport springs for me yesterday (3/15/04), took him about an hour and a half I was shocked when he said it was already done. He does the work after 5pm at Frankel Acura. He will be doing all of my work in the future. He has worked for Frankel for 15 years. He does everything you can imagine (headers,springs,rotors,maintenance, etc.) for very,very,very cheap. PM me for his info.

Don't know if you got the work done yet but if Branch Ave. off the Capitol Beltway isn't too far Tony's Automotive in Clinton, MD is awesome. I know it ain't the dealership but this guys been a Honda/Acura Specialist for at least 10+ years. I use him for anything I can't do myself and refer all my friends to him.

its good to know theres someone there that knows what they are doing on the service side.
