Maybe Selling the TL-S
Maybe Selling the TL-S
So im thinking of selling the 2003 TL-S, and i want to know whats a fair price.
I have all the records, 2nd owner, done all recomended service's plus a trans flush every oil change(I know how are trany's are)
107K WDP. Perfect condition, all highway miles.
brand new 18" Katana GR-5 wheels with new tires
Cross grilled and slotted roters with new pads
tinted windows
Stock Wing
Custom Exhaust, perfect sound, not ricey
Injen Intake
Denso Spark plugs
Alpine stereo Sub and amp and componet speakers all around and with a Pioneer DEH-P8600 head unit.
Momo Shit knob
De-badged.
Again washed and waxed every weekend.
I was thinking about selling it for pay off and thats like 11.600

Sounds like a decent price to me. I pulled up this search of the greater LA area to give you an idea of what others are selling their TLs for. Good luck!

keep in mind, those upgrades won't fetch you much (if any) extra cash on the sale. Most buyers (on the avg) want a car that hasn't been modified too much. Stereo is usually ok but with wheels you have to hope they like that style. If you got the stockies, put those back on and sell your wheels separately. Craigslist is a good place to sell a car, as well as the wheels, but AZ Black Market is good too. Again, good luck with your sale!

Just get the transmission to act up soon and get your freebie replacement~
The car is worth a lot more with a fresh $4000 transmission installed
Otherwise you know whats going to happen right after you sell the car....
I think phee can relate a story here....

well it doesnt hurt to get the tranny inspected anyway. wouldnt it add value to the car if you had like type-s wheels on it? opposed to custom wheels? But them again, they are Just 5 spoke 18 inch wheels, very simple design, and they look very sporty.
