Make rear seat able to fold down?

Has anyone done this before? It doesn't seem like it would be terribly hard to do, just seeing if anyones tried this before.

I suppose you could remove the rear seat and unbolt some of the bulkhead reinforcements..

I don't think I'd need to remove the reinforcements. If I could somehow put some hinges on the bottom of the back side of the seat.

just leave the rear set unbolted so all you have to do is just pull the bottom/ass part out and pull up and lift out the back part when ever you need to. those bolts dont really do anything, a few members here leave it like this.

i only leave 2 10mm bolts on the back part, and leave a spare 10mm nut driver in my car encase it needs to come out, takes like 30 sec.

Yea I think that's how's it's gonna have to be. After just taking a closer look I don't think it would be easy to hinge it.

yea it would take a little cutting and custom work, im sure it can be done just depends if you have the time to fabricate something up. good luck if you ever plan on doing it.

You couldnt hinge it. The back part goes down below the lower cushion. I leave mine unbolted so that i can lift the lower cushion up and stand it on the floor then lift the back up and lay it down.
