Ok I got a new DVD navi unit, screen, and 6-disc indash CD player off ebay. Had it insured and shipped to me. I hooked it up, entered the codes...and the unit will not read the DVD. I opened the drive, the disc has a noticable scratch on it so i cleaned the disc.

Stuck it back in and it said unable to read, UNFORMATED. So I went upstairs and made a direct copy of the DVD on my burner...no problems. Stuck a clean disc in the unit and same issue. Is my unit busted? It makes a noise when its reading the disc...more so that
I would think. Please help!!! Or tell me how to file insurance on UPS!!!
