Maintenance Required Light

Maintenance Required Light

just did my oil change and the light wont go away.... how do i reset it? i tried holding down the 2 buttons and turning key to on position, and its still there...

Hold the 2 buttons, THEN turn the key to the "RUN" position (dont start the car) CONTINUE to hold them (usually takes 10 seconds) until the light goes off.

^^Yep, I don't even use that indicator light. As soon as I see it I turn it off.
I have my own schedule...

stick left arm thru steering wheel and hold both trip buttons IN with left hand
Use right hand to turn key to ON and watch the mait light blink several times then stop
Turn key off- remove hand and arm- you are done!
EASIEST DIY EVER
