I have 6900 miles on my TLS, and everytime I turn the car on, the "Main Req'd" light keeps blinking for about 10-15 seconds. Is this normal, or is that one of those Honda things that remind you to come for a stupid 7,500 mile service?

 

Yes it's normal. Manual explains it all. Just means that you're coming up to you regularly scheduled maintenance.

 

Yes this is normal I reset mine at the last oil change as I go by months not miles. It was blinking but I had the oil changed & the dealer did not reset it so I did. This time mine has been blinking when I start up the car for the last 3months. I have low mileage on my car for it soon to be 2yrs. I did not reset light but last week it came on & stayed on when car is on. I was do for my 15K about 500 miles ago.The car just hit 15K last week & I took it in for 15K service today & that is where it still is. ACURA gave me a 2001 Integra loaner car its okay but I miss my TL. This Teg is slow & you feel the bumps.

 

How did you reset it yourself?
