Maintenance light on

Hey fellas i have a quick question and cant find the answer anywhere. How do i reset or turn off the maintenance light on the dash

Owners manual ftw...

Turn car off. Press and hold Select and Reset for a few seconds. Turn key to ON. (Don't crank it). Keep holding until it turns off

Search button! I searched maintenance required and came up with a ton of results. Then i went into the DIY page and clicked the link in there and this is what i got.

put left hand thru steering wheel to push both trip buttons

Use right hand to turn key to ON and watch mait light - flashes several seconds then goes off

Light now reset for another 6500 miles- then it warns of impending oil change~

someones wife came home one night....`The maitenance light came on while I was driving so I stopped on the freeway and looked under the hood and under the car and didnt see anything wrong` ~

husband: Ok- good job,,,(thinking must be time to change the oil)
