Maint. Required Light

Does anyone know how to reset the maintenance required light. I know my Integra has a button under the dash. I spoke to a mechanic at Acura and he said you have to hold the trip and reset button at the same time. When i do that the outside temp counts up and down -3-2-1 123.

Put the key in the ignition, turn to accessory power... hold the 2 buttons on the dash (trip and reset) until you hear 3 beeps...

Is that right everyone? I think that is how you do it. It is also in the owners manual...

do a search...search is your friend :-) It is very easy to reset the light.
1) put key in ignition without turning it
2) hold down the 2 bittons as your mechanic stated
3) while holding the buttons, turn the key to the last position before starting. All of the lights will turn on including the maintenance light
4) after about 5 seconds, the light will turn off and you are good until the next time :-)

Hope this helps.

- Turn off the engine.
- Press and hold the select and reset buttons on the instrument panel
- Turn the ignition switch ON
- Hold the buttons for approximately ten seconds until
the indicator resets.
