Hey guys. I know this is an ancient post. I was wondering if the 2002 M5 spoiler will fit a 2000 TL-P. Also, how much did painting your spoiler cost you guys? I have a Nighthawk Black 3.2 TL. Thanks.

Anybody have a price range for how much it costs to paint an M5 spoiler? I noticed a guy earlier offered to paint one for $100. That seems kinda pricey for something that small. Maybe I'm just a cheapskate. But really, if anyone here has done that mod, please let me know how much cost them. Thanks

Circle BMW & Pacific BMW are the cheapest places to get OEM BMW parts. Trust me on this one.
As long as you specify that it is the E39 M5 lip spoiler you will be fine.

The document I posted is taken from the ETK/TIS CD that all BMW Dealers have. A fellow BMW enthisuast got it for me. So you couldn't order the pre-painted one since it requires a BMW paint code. Call a local REPUTABLE paint/body shop and ask them. I'd say $70-100 is the going rate for the people that I know that have done it. Granted these went on BMWs, but nonetheless it should be about the same. They already come primed so all it needs is paint and clearcoat.

I've been calling around town today, and it sounds like noone is willing to go below $125. Is that normal? It seems like the M5 spoiler should be cheaper since it's so small, but a lot of places have flat rates.

No, I'm talking about prices for having the spoiler painted. I've called local shops and $125 is the cheapest price. Anyone from Austin, TX here that knows a good paint shop?
